The Newport Theater presents a virtual experience unlike any other - part video game, part digital show, and part online cocktail party, all taking place inside a digital haunted house (courtesy of our partners the Galaxie Chicago/Virtual Curtain).

Want to enjoy a special cocktail during our online party? Visit the Newport on October 30-31 at our corresponding Newport Boo!-ze Port event, a socially distanced/staggered to-go cocktail pickup event. Patrons can purchase to-go cocktails and interactive drink experiences that correspond with the digital party.

Looking for a family-friendly event? The Galaxie Chicago will be running "Shiver River Fright Night," their interactive haunted house all week prior to the Newport fundraiser party.

All proceeds from ticket sales will support the Newport Theater, a Chicago-based burlesque/drag/variety theater. Tip buckets inside the haunted house will help support the performers/presenters, so bring your (digital) tipping dollars!

Halloween 2020 is truly a "once in a blue moon" affair of a myriad of reasons, including the fact that it falls on a rare astrological phenomena known as a "blue moon." Celebrate with your friends in a safe way that still honors the season.
